According to some buzz there is a possibility that ABC Family pick up The Secret Circle for a season 2. As soon we know something more, we will let you know.
Please, don’t forget to join @savethecircle‘s campaign to help bring back The Secret Circle for Season 2.

Save The Circle…

Is a fan led campaign that was started in April of 2012 to encourage a season 2 renewal of The Secret Circle on The CW
Network. TSC aired on The CW from September 15th, 2011 to May 10th, 2012 and was officially canceled on May 11th, 2012.

Upon news of TSC’s cancellation, Save The Circle quickly switched gears and became a campaign aimed at bringing the freshman series back to television. Through petitions, mailing campaigns, a fan-image gallery, and various other “missions,” Save The Circle seeks to prove there is still a strong following for the series, a solid demo market for advertisers, and a place for it on either network or cable television.

Save The Secret Circle

Mission #1

While online petitions and emails give us a voice (and garner us media attention), they’re not always loud enough. Sometimes we need physical proof that we’re out here and watching. That’s why we’ve launched a letter campaign.

We’re asking all of you to make your best case for why The Secret Circle should be brought back to the network. Appeal to The CW’s sensibilities. Let them know that TSC has some of the most talented and upcoming actors in the business. Let them know that Andrew Miller’s direction for Season 2 would bring back viewers and ad profits. Remind them that their supernatural genre shows provide some of their highest network ratings.

In addition to your letter, we are asking that you include the item voted on by all of you. That item is a picture of the Balcoin symbol. You can marker it on your hand, graphically design it in a program like adobe, etch it in the dirt, or boil some spaghetti and shape it out of the noodles. You can even use objects representative of characters on the show (matches for Charles or necklaces for Faye). Whatever you want! Get creative with how you make the symbol. Then be sure to take a picture of your creation, have the photo printed or developed, and include it in the envelope with your letter.

It’s important to note that this campaign is NOT the time to lash out at the president of The CW network. It’s the time to prove that the network can gain something from having TSC in The CW line-up, whether it’s through regular season programming or within their newly launched summer programming.

One fan has already written an exceptional appeal to the network. You can read it by clicking here. Use it as a launching pad for your own. Let’s stand behind Andrew, the cast, and crew of this incredibly mesmerizing, addictive, and down-right thrilling show.

Zap2It: ” ‘The Secret Circle’ finale: Charles finally gets what’s coming to him”

Tonight’s Season 1 finale, titled “Family,” will force Charles into a potentially deadly decision. The most important relationship in his life, with his daughter Diana (Shelley Hennig), is crumbling. He’s learned that she may not be his biological daughter, and she’s discovered the truth about Charles’ potential for darkness.

“We’re asking all of the characters, but particularly Cassie and Diana, to examine the concept of family and decide if family is defined by blood or by choice,” executive producer Andrew Miller tells Zap2it. “By the end of this episode, she’ll have to choose. Diana’s looking at these ‘my two evil dads,’ one more evil than the other, one by blood, and one by choice, and she has to make certain decisions.”

Charles has to decide whether Diana is his priority, or if he can continue to be driven by selfishness. “Charles has thought Diana was his biological daughter this entire time and is now faced with the idea that she isn’t,” says Miller. “He seems to want to be a real father. In the finale, he’ll have to decide what being a real father means and how far he’s willing to go for his daughter.”

As is appropriate for an episode titled “Family,” we’ll welcome Stepfanie Kramer back to Chance Harbor as Kate, Charles’ mother, who definitely has her own agenda. “Everyone needs to turn to their mom every once in a while, and this is the episode where Charles desperately needs to. Kate will put who Diana is into a very clear perspective for him.”

Throughout the season, Charles and Dawn have often been ruthless in their quest to regain the power they were stripped of 16 years ago. When they finally get their power back in tonight’s final episode, it’s not exactly all it was cracked up to be.

TVLine: ”Secret Circle Boss on Finale’s ‘Epic’ Body Count, Unlikely Romance and Blackwell’s Endgame”

TVLINE | Blackwell’s been carrying out this agenda for decades now. What is the endgame?
We’re going to find out the endgame in this episode, and why he came to Chance Harbor to begin with and what he wanted with Cassie and what he wants with the crystal skull. For Blackwell, there are a few more chess moves still to be played in this finale.

TVLINE | Adam and Melissa have been spending a lot of time together. Is there some romance brewing there, pun intended?
[Laughs] Well, it’s a question for next season. Adam and Melissa have developed into the anti-Faye and Jake, in that Faye and Jake have this incredibly strong, dense emotional armor that protects them from anything, and it’s hard to crack through. [Melissa and Adam] are definitely getting closer. Whether that blooms into something remains to be seen, although there are some hints in this finale between Adam and Melissa and between Adam and Cassie. What happens to Adam as his story is completed over the course of this episode really points to an exciting, questionable relationship for next season.

TVLINE | We haven’t seen Ethan in a while. Is he going to come back into play in the finale?

Ethan isn’t playing in the finale. He is in spirit, but for technical reasons, we weren’t able to include [actor Adam Harrington, who was filming the Fox pilot Mob Doctor] in the finale, although we desperately wanted to. We concentrate heavily on Dawn and Charles. Ultimately, we weren’t able to finish the Ethan story the way we wanted exactly, but we’re poised to do so next year.

InsideTV: ” ‘Secret Circle’ EP Andrew Miller previews tonight’s season finale”

“There is an extremely diabolical next phase to Blackwell’s plans that the kids aren’t privy to, that Faye’s kidnapping has something to do with,” Miller teases. By the end of the hour, we will know Blackwell’s true intentions. “He’s a complicated guy, to say the least. But we’ll completely understand why he’s in Chance Harbor and what he wants, and the viewers can decide just how evil or not evil they think he is,” Miller says. “And Cassie will make that decision very clearly.”

There’s a reason the episode is titled “Family”

: “For all the characters, but particularly for Cassie and Diana, it becomes a choice about defining whether your family is made up of blood or choice. That’s the decision Diana will have to make, that Cassie will have to make, and the others will have to make as they head to the final minutes of the show.”
